Check Out Video Of Dane Reynolds At Pipeline Masters

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 18 December, 2009 : - - Congratulations to DC's Dane Reynolds for his 3rd place finish at the prestigious Billabong Pipeline Masters held at North Shore. He defeated fellow American, CJ Hobgood, in the quarterfinals to advance him to the semis. Although Dane surfed impressively throughout the competition he fell short of the finals to event winner, Taj Burrow.

Upon finishing an Equal 3rd with Australian, Dean Morrison, Dane said, “I was kind of stuck between trying to find air sections and still trying to find one of those rare tubes and ended up not doing either. I just got stuck in the middle. I’m stoked though. It was a good way to end the year and it’s been a good event.”

In only his second year competing on the WCT, Dane landed 10th in the 2009 ASP World Tour ratings.
